On Saturday 8th of October 2016, Foundation University and Radboud University Nijmegen had a fruitful discussion day at Academy of Amsterdam.
Foundation Academy's Human Rights students, the students of Global Studies, were joined together with the Master students of Human Geography with specialization in Globalization, Migration & Development from Radboud University Nijmegen, to discuss Migration, Citizenship, Refugee issues, and Development. Dr. Lothar Smith, professor of Human Geography led the discussion, together with a presentation by Jille Belisario, lecturer in Integrated Human Rights education. The day was opened by Dr. Samuel Lee, president of Foundation Academy of Amsterdam. Both Radboud and Foundation students were active in the discussion and are looking for more dialogue days in the future.
