
Foundation Academy of Amsterdam is delighted to have a new volunteer* lecturer and colleague: Mikkie van der Mik.
Mikkie is appointed as the lead developer and coordinator for Grassroots Journalism, a brand-new multidisciplinary course at Foundation Academy. Mikkie has a Bachelor of Science in Pedagogy from the Hague University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Theology and Religious Studies in Media from the VU University, and a Master of Gender Studies from the Utrecht University.
Mikkie works at the Faculty of Religion and Theology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and hopes to provide internship opportunities for VU University students, particularly for the upcoming Grassroots Journalism program. In 2023, more details regarding the Grassroots Journalism will be accessible. Having a new volunteer colleague at Foundation Academy of Amsterdam makes us very happy.
