WELCOME TO FOUNDATION ACADEMY OF AMSTERDAM
"Give a man a fish, and he will be fed for a day; teach him how to fish, and he will be fed for a lifetime." as the saying goes. To teach a person to fish in polluted waters and poisoned rivers are challenging when our oceans are governed by human avarice and industrial greed. When the majority does not have access to resources and the minority continues to exploit what is left behind, it is challenging to educate a person. We don't only educate people on how to fish at the Foundation Academy; we also teach them why our resources are "polluted" and by whom. Our students are educated, motivated, and empowered to regain their rights and "fish" in the ocean of justice once again. We provide them with the tools they need to recover our humanity from greed and injustice. Education is not a luxury for the wealthy but a necessity for everybody.

Foundation Academy of Amsterdam is a small non-profit institute of alternative higher education in liberal arts and humanities. Here we offer hybrid education by adapting our programs to the circumstances and situations of our students; we use both traditional and non-traditional methods, which allow the students to study at their own pace, place, and timing with the guidance and supervision of our volunteer lecturers.
Academic education should be affordable, accessible, and flexible to all the members of the human race across the globe! You can be a part of Foundation Academy by:
-
becoming a student
-
becoming a volunteer lecturer
-
supporting us financially

On behalf of the Foundation Academy of Amsterdam, I invite you to join us on this journey of hope to make the world a better place.
