ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Foundation Academy of Amsterdam offers Certificate (Cert.), Diploma (Dip.),
Academic Diploma (Ac.Dip.) and Advanced Academic Diploma (Ad.Ac.Dip.) programs.
Foundation Academy of Amsterdam does not issue Bachelor- and Master degrees and is not accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Organization (NVAO). The intensity and quality of Academic Diploma Programs may be compared with a bachelor level program at a regular university, and the intensity and quality of Advanced Academic Diploma Programs can be compared with a master level program at a regular university. Foundation Academy of Amsterdam encourages those who are interested in a degree program to contact a regular university in their own countries.
Foundation Academy of Amsterdam programs of School of Global Studies, School of Divinity, School of Integrated Human Rights are accredited by International Council for Higher Education, a non-governmental Christian accrediting institution, that accredits Christian colleges and universities.
Certificate Programs are a cluster of different modules or individual courses with less intensive assessments. Certificate program courses are between 15 to 30 ECTS. Entry Requirements: None
Advanced Academic Diploma is between 90 - 120 ECTS. Duration of this program is 2 - 3 years. The intensity and quality of Academic Diploma Programs can be compared with a master level program at a regular university.
Entry Requirements: Academic Diploma from Foundation Academy of Amsterdam in the same field of studies, or Bachelor degree from other academic institutions in the same or similar discipline.
Diploma programs consist of clusters of different modules making together 60 ECTS. Duration of this program is one year or lesser.
Entry Requirements: None
Academic Diploma is between 160 - 180 ECTS. Duration of this program is 4-6 years. The intensity and quality of Academic Diploma may be compared with a bachelor level program at a regular university.
Entry Requirements: Diploma from Foundation Academy of Amsterdam in the same field of studies. Or, diploma / advanced certificate from other academic institutions in the same or similar discipline.
