Tear & Foundation Academy of Amsterdam organize lecture series on Theology of Migration with Dr. Samuel Lee. Due to the Biblical call to care for the orphan, widow and the stranger, the topic of migration becomes relevant from a Christian perspective. During this afternoon, we go one step further and look at migration from a theological perspective. The Bible is a book full of migration stories; not least when it comes to the life of Jesus.
On 26 June Dr. Samuel Lee offers an online lecture on Theology of Migration, he helps us to read the Bible through the lens of migration.Samuel Lee's lectures are combined with personal stories from people who tell how migration affects their lives. You will also have the opportunity to ask your own questions during the Q&A with Samuel Lee. There are also interactive sessions in which there is enough space to discuss and learn from each other with other participants.
The program takes place via Zoom and starts at 1 p.m. and lasts until 4.30 p.m.
Tear organizes this seminar together with the Foundation Academy of Amsterdam. The in-depth and interactive afternoon is intended for pastors, entrepreneurs, pioneers, church leaders, students and other interested parties.

The costs of the afternoon are € 20.00 per person.
There is a special student price of € 10.00.
This afternoon is part of Tear's Integral Mission program. Integral mission is the vision that the mission of the church is to bring the good news in word and deed, in all aspects of life. Theology from the context is important here. Through this program we want to sound other, also non-Western, theological voices in the Netherlands.
