7 September: Opening of the Academic Year with Drs. Elise Kant

People on the Move Deserve Support, Respect, and Human Rights

The Foundation Academy of Amsterdam is proud to announce the opening of the new academic year on September 7, 2024, featuring an inspiring keynote speech by Drs. Elise Kant, the esteemed director of the Haella Foundation. Her address, titled “People on the Move Deserve Support, Respect, and Human Rights,” will be directed not only to the students and staff of the FAA but also to the wider community.

Drs. Kant will share her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to human rights, justice, and the devastating impact of wars on human dignity and rights. Elise Kant has been a prominent figure in the field of human rights for decades. In December 2023, she was recognized as one of the top 10 most influential professionals in philanthropy in the Netherlands. Her speech promises to be both thought-provoking and motivating, making it an event not to be missed.

Foundation Academy of Amsterdam is a strategic partner of the Haella Foundation, an organization dedicated to realizing the ideals of passionate individuals and empowering those who wish to make a difference for others, their community, or the environment.

Graduation Ceremony

In addition to the opening speech, the event will also feature a graduation ceremony for students in the Integrated Human Rights, Global Studies, and Theology programs. This ceremony will honor the achievements of our graduates as they prepare to embark on their next journey.
