August 10, 2016

Dr. Jackson Weah is a minister and women rights activist in Liberia. He is also general bishop of Hope Renewal Ministries. Through his Girls' School he seeks to renew hope among young girls in post war Liberia through Christian education, guidance, trauma healing and life skill training in an atmosphere conducive to learning. The Bridge of Hope Girls’ school runs an Elementary tuition free school with one hundred and twenty five students. The building contains six classrooms along with offices, computer lab, bath rooms, storeroom etc.

The school has to provide free education to over 500 Liberian girls of school-going age in the country. Dr. Weah is involved with Foundation University as an online volunteer professor. He lectures in the fields of gender studies, gender in Africa and Christianity in Africa.

Foundation University is proud of the work Dr. Weah does in Liberia and beyond.
